CRU Event Rentals

The 2019 San Antonio Cocktail Conference was held at La Villita in January of this year, with pop up parties all around the Alamo City. We were super excited to be a part of two different parties by providing rentals for them.

The first party we were honored to be a part of was the Wild Turkey Bourbon party at Chisme, on N. St. Mary’s Street, on Friday night of the Conference. They went with a more industrial look, renting all leather furniture to provide soft seating for their guests, while accenting with a metal trunk and a jute rug. We also provided a whiskey barrel bar and industrial shelving behind the bar. We brought some vintage books and copper lanterns to decorate the shelving with their bottles being the focal point, of course! Our whiskey barrels served as cocktail tables, inside and out, for their guests to have a place to set their drinks on, while mingling. What a fun place to host a party and what a great turnout they had for their VIP guests!

We were also excited to provide lounge furniture rentals and decor for the Hendricks Gin party for the third year in a row!! Hendricks Gin always hosts an exciting party renting out a private room for their guests, only, and do they know how to throw a party!! This year, the party was to showcase the release of their latest product, Orbium and it was nothing short of a fun night!! Their guests walked through our vintage doors, surrounded by hedge walls, to enter the room, and they were greeted with by a man doing juggling acts while balancing on a large ball!! The lights were blue and dim and dry ice filled the room, creating the effect of walking on clouds. We had vignettes of soft seating around the room so guests to have a place to sit while enjoying a delicious cocktail. The lounge areas were complete with sofas, chairs, coffee tables, end tables, chandeliers, vintage candelabras and more. The dj played hits all night while the guests danced. When they weren’t dancing or lounging, they could take fun pictures in their photo booth or have their face painted, all while sitting in one of our vintage chairs. Regardless of what everyone was doing, a great time was had by all!

Upstairs at La Villita were lots of other liquor companies showcasing their brands and each one had a unique set up. There were restaurants sampling their best foods and liquor companies giving away small tastings to each guest. Tickets were sold to the events at La Villita and were worth every penny to be able to taste such great food and drinks all in one place.
